Ahead of tomorrow, Tuesday, May 8, the much-awaited the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial primary election, no fewer than 2,131 delegates would determine the fate of 3 aspirants that will be contesting for the ticket of the party.
The delegates would come from 177 wards across the 16 local governments area of the state as follows:
8 delegates per Ward, a total of 1,416 (5 Principal ward executives and 3 nomination delegates)
20 delegates per LG, a total of 320 (18 Principal LG executives and 2 nomination delegates)
State delegates, a total of 25
Governorship aspirants, a total of 3
Statutory delegates, a total of 367 (Including National Assembly, State Assembly, LG Chairmen and Councillors)
All the aspirants are wooing the delegates across the 16 Local Government Area of the state.
Newsflash247 gathered that the delegates across the state in the party are almost determined who would vote for on this coming Tuesday primary election and the delegates being controlled by the leaders.
A source gathered that the deputy governor of the state, Kolapo Olusola is frontline to be the candidate of the party.

Kolapo Olusola
Kolapo Olusola, a current deputy governor of the state and a native of Ikere Ekiti, Ikere Local government area of the state. Olusola, a professor of Building Technology. He makes the state back to the fountain of Knowlege after Ekiti was 27 positions in WAEC and NECO during Fayemi’administration. He is the supervision of Education to make Ekiti became first in NECO in 2016 and 2017 session. He has a support of his boss, Ayodele Fayose. Fayose installed the party structures at ward, local government, senatorial and state levels. But, Olusola’s ambition is facing serious opposition within the party. Some party members believe that Olusola is new to the party despite that his parents are frontline of the party since 1998 when PDP was created and his ambition is capable of dividing the party when some of the aspirants dump PDP to Social Democratic Party, SDP and Mega Party of Nigeria, MPN. He is from Ekiti South senatorial district, the zone has never produced the state governor when Ekiti was created in 1996. He is likely to score 80% out of the total delegates.
Adedayo Adeyeye
Prince Dayo Adeyeye, a former minister of work and a native of Ise- Ekiti, Ise/Orun Local government of the state. Adeyeye, a former public secretary of the Afenifere group. He joins PDP in 2010 when the defund party, Alliance Congress, AC, picked Kayode Fayemi as governorship candidate. He contesting governorship race against Ayodele Fayose in 2014. He is from Ekiti South Senatorial District. He is likely to score 15% out of the delegates.
Biodun Olujimi
Biodun Olujimi, a current senator represents Ekiti South Senatorial District and a native of Omuo Ekiti, Ekiti East local government area of the state. She was a former deputy governor of the state. She fighting to be the first female governor of the state but no support of Ayodele Fayose and her very difficult for her to win the ticket. She is also from Ekiti South Senatorial District, a zone that never produces the governor since Ekiti was created. She is likely to score 5% votes of the delegates.
