Ekiti LG Poll: Fayemi announces restriction of movement
Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has announced the restriction of vehicular movement across the state on Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A statement released on Friday by the Chief of Staff to the governor, Biodun Omoleye, said the restriction is to allow for the smooth conduct of LG elections in the state.
Mr Omoleye said only those on essential and electoral assignments are exempted from the restriction.
He added that students participating in NECO examinations across the state with valid proof of identification would be allowed unhindered movement.

He solicited the cooperation of residents towards achieving a hitch-free and peaceful election.
Mr Omoleye reiterated the commitment of the state government to the safety of every citizen of the state before, during and after the election.
