Ekiti LG Council Poll: PDP Disqualified Aspirants After Paying N320,000 Nomination Form
Ahead of the December 23 Local Government election in Ekiti State, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has disqualified all the chairmanship aspirants in Ado Local Government due to their unruly and misconduct behaviors during the primary election held yesterday at Government House, Ado-Ekiti.
According to the State Party Publicity Sectary, Jackson Adebayo. He said: “The party in the state has disqualified all the chairmanship aspirants in the local government while a fresh nomination has been opened to any interested member of the party in Ado-Ekiti local government between now and Friday 6th October 2017 at the party Secretariat”.
“All interested member should contact the party Secretariat for both forms of intent and nomination form while the payment should also be made before the end of work on same Friday”.
Meanwhile, the screening committee of the party cleared all the aspirants before allowing him/her to paid the nomination form of Three hundred thousand naira (N300,000) and paying twenty thousand naira (N20,000) for intent form.
