Ekiti Governor Visits His Old Tailor Who Made His Clothes in University Days
The Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, on Friday, surprised his former tailor, Mr. David Aina, who used to make his clothes when he was a university student.
The governor shared photos of his visit on his Facebook page, saying that it was a heartwarming experience to reconnect with someone who had a positive impact on his life.
Mr. Aina is the owner of Davis Cuts Fashion House, a popular tailoring shop located near Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti.
The governor said that he was his favourite tailor during his undergraduate days at the Ondo State University in Ado-Ekiti (now Ekiti State University).
The governor praised Mr. Aina for his skill and professionalism in the fashion industry, and thanked him for his service and friendship over the years. He said that he was proud of Mr. Aina’s achievements and wished him more success in his business.
The governor also encouraged other young entrepreneurs in Ekiti State to emulate Mr. Aina’s passion and dedication to his craft, saying that he would continue to support them with policies and programmes that would enhance their growth and development.
“I paid a surprise visit to Mr. David Aina, a highly respected tailor who owns Davis Cuts Fashion House, located around Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti.
“Mr. David holds a special place in my heart, as he was my favourite tailor who skillfully made my clothes during my undergraduate days at the Ondo State University in Ado-Ekiti,( now Ekiti State University) The visit was a delightful journey down memory lane, reconnecting with a person who played a significant role in my past and continues to shine in the world of fashion.”
