Ekiti council lawmaker dies
The Councillor representing Ward (11) eleven in Ado-Ekiti Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Aladeloye Tayo, is dead.
Mr Aladeloye died on Monday after a brief illness.
He was a member of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
This incident occurred few hours after the death of a lawmaker representing Akure South/North Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Adedayo Omolafe, popularly known as “Expensive”.
Hon. Omolafe, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) died in Akure in the early hours of Monday.
A source who confirmed the incident to Newsflash Nigeria said Expensive died around 2 am on Monday in Owo Hospital.
A source close to him said “he was unconscious last night (Sunday night) and rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Owo.

One of his close allies told Newsflash Nigeria that the lawmaker was not sick as he was with his constituents on Sunday.
He added that he died in his home in Akure, the state capital.
“Expensive was not sick, we were still together yesterday (Sunday) morning, this is so sad, a terrible blow dealt Akure”
Hon Omolafe was the former chairman of the Akure South Local Government between 2003-2009.
