The newly-formed Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA) has suspended its interim chairperson in Ekiti State, Mrs. Foluke Okeya.
A statement on Thursday signed by the interim deputy chairman of the party, Tunde Agbabiaka, and interim women mobiliser, Mrs. Mercy Ilesanmi and ‘chairman of chairmen’, Boboye Ajibade, said Mrs. Okeya was suspended at the party’s State Executive Committee (SEC) for alleged anti-party activities, misconduct, and abuse of office.
The statement added that the party had set up a five-man panel to investigate the alleged offences, saying Mrs. Okeya would “remain suspended pending the submission of the panel’s report.”
