The Ongoing Ekiti APC Guber primaries Election has just been disrupted, Sporadic gunshots, Ballot Papers destroyed.
Thugs belong to one of the aspirants, Hon Olufemi Bamisile snatched APC primary ballot box shattered it after the delegates from six local government areas have voted before the distruption.
It was gathered that the former governor of the state, Kayode Fayemi is in a clear lead which lead to the frustration by some aspirants
All the 32 aspirants gang up against Fayemi, chant of “we don’t want Fayemi again in Ekiti” taking over Oluyemi Kayode Stadium.
The chairman of election committee, Governor Al- Makura as an emergency meeting with the commissioner of police to all aspirants.
According to the reports, all ballots and votes are secured after disruption. The Cordinators of some the aspirants on bashing Kayode Fayemi . Voting will resume from where stopped once meeting is over and all agreed by the aspirants.
