Barely a week to the All Progressives Party, APC, governorship primary in Ekiti State, the leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu met all the 33 governorship aspirants In Lagos on Friday, April 27.
Bola Tinubu being the Leader of South West of the party. He advises the aspirants and pledged to ensure free, fair, transparent and credible primaries in Ekiti State.
Tinubu promised them to be on the ground during the course of the primaries to ensure the process is well managed.
“He promises them to monitor and assist the national body of the party to deliver a rancor-free process
“He promised them to call a meeting after the primary whereby the winner will be united with the other aspirants and the winner made to pledge an all-inclusive government”.
“Tinubu called all the aspirants to make their campaigns issued-based and refrain from tarnishing the image of one another”.
The leaders of south-west of the party present in the meeting are; the former national chairman of the party, Chief Bisi Akande, Former governor of Ogun State, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Former Ekiti State governor, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, State Chairman of the party, Chief Jide Awe, National Chairman Of the South- West, Chief Pius Akinyelure and Paul Omotoso.
