Ahead of the Ekiti State gubernatorial election fixed for July 14th this year, one of the governorship aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele popularly known as MOB, have picked the Expression of interest form and the Nomination form on Wednesday, April 11 at the party national headquarters in Abuja.
Opeyemi Bamidele who making eight governorship aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have obtained the nomination and expression of interest forms so far.
The aspirants obtained their form so far are, Hon. Femi Bamisile, Senator Ayo Arise, Senator Gbenga Aluko, Dr. Wole Oluyede, Hon. Bamidele Faparusi, Hon. Debo Ranti-Ajayi, Victor Olumuyiwa Kolade and Hon. Opeyemi Bamidele.
Bamidele, who contested on the platform of Labour Party (LP) in 2014, said the entrance of former governor Kayode Fayemi was not a threat to his ambition speaking on Wednesday after obtained the forms.
The founding member of the APC, who voiced confidence in the ability of the party to organise a transparent primary election for all the aspirants, said Dr Fayemi would work for him if he emerged as the candidate through a credible electoral process.
