Ikere Development Forum led by Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN interactive and get together for Ikere Sons who contesting for governorship race in Ekiti State.
The meeting held at Sheba Suite, Ikeja in Lagos State. Ikere Development Forum, IDF is an open organisation group for all the sons and daughters of Ikere Kingdom.
All the aspirants present at the meeting were all agreed to work together for making the town forward and Ekiti at large
The aspirant presents in the meeting Include, the present deputy governor of the state and the anointed candidate of governor Ayodele Fayose, Professor Kolapo Olusola-Eleka, Former Permanent Secretary and Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Chief Sesan Fatoba, Former lawmaker, Hon Funminiyi Afuye, Austria Medical practitioner, Dr Wole Oluyede and Engineering Kola Alabi
The president of the Forum, Chief Wole Olanipekun advice the contestants to choose one candidate for each party and many aspirants in each party may weaken the chance of any Ikere to emerge as a party candidate. so that it can be very easy for getting the highest number of Ikere (delegates) vote during the primary election and it will boost his chance of getting the ticket.
About 50 professors Ikere sons and daughters present in the occasion, others present Include; the paramour ruler of the town, HRM, Oba Samuel Adejimi Adu, the Ogoga of Ikere Kingdom, Ikere local chairman, Hon Remi Ayeni and his Secretary, Olu Olaribiwa, Otunba Sola Adewumi, Barrister Ogundana , President of Supreme Council of Ikere Youths, Mr Akin Afuye, three High Chiefs of the town, Ikere Musicians, Mr Alaba Micho Ade and Mr Saka.
