A former governor of Ekiti State and current Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has said that he would not contest for July 14th governorship election.
Dr. Fayemi was quoted saying this on Saturday when he hosted all the 177 Wards Executives across the 16 local governments area of Ekiti State in his country hometown, Isan-Ekiti.
“I won’t contest the coming Ekiti governorship race, rather, l, and other leaders will support any of the aspirants that emerged as the winner on May 5th and they will ensure that all aspirants signed an undertaken that none of them will defect to other parties after the primaries”.
