Ahead of the five months to governorship election in Ekiti State, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, the former Minister of Work and the Publicity Secretary of the National Caretaker Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has joined the governorship race in the state on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Dayo Adeyeye is a native of Ise-Ekiti in Ekiti South Senatorial District, a zone which has failed to produce a state governor since the creation of Ekiti State in 1996. He was a SUBEB chairman to former Governor Segun Oni.
Prince Dayo Adeyeye, has promised to give 40 per cent of political appointments to the women if elected as governor in 2018.
He made the pledge on Wednesday at the PAAM secretariat in Ado Ekiti, the state capital, where he officially declared his intention to participate this 2018 governorship election in Ekiti.
