Ekiti 2018: APC Picks Omoleye As Fayemi’s Running Mate

The All Progressives Congress, APC has picked Mr Biodun Omoleye from Ijero-Ekiti (Ekiti central senatorial district) as Kayode Fayemi’s running mate in the forthcoming election

The APC in the South Senatorial District was not happy with the ways APC and Fayemi has picked his running mate from the Central Senatorial District despite that the zone is denial for governing the state since the creation of the state

With this development, Fayemi has further demonstrated his hatred for the south senatorial district which has been clamouring for a chance to govern the state,

During the runup to the APC primary election, everyone had thought that Fayemi who is a serving minister would hold on to his juicy post in Abuja and support a south aspirant to become the APC candidate, it beats reasonable imaginations as Fayemi joined the race and used all the ministerial privileges to subdue the chances of his Co-contestants and won the ticket.

As if that is not enough, Fayemi did not consider the marginalised district in picking his deputy as he picks from Ijero-Ekiti in the central senatorial district, this is the height of phobia for the poor district, in days to come, Fayemi will be campaigning against their son (Prof Olusola Eleka).

Ekiti south can easily differentiate who really love them between Gov Fayose who has executed many infrastructural projects in their district and made sure that their son emerged as the candidate of his party and Fayemi who would be campaigning against their son/chances.
