Ekiti 2018: APC Deputy National Chairman, Segun Oni Resigns

The Deputy National Chairman South, Engr. Segun Oni has resigned his position.

Segun Oni, a former governor of the Ekiti state, formally declared his intention to vie for the governorship ticket of the All Progressive Party, APC, last year.

Oni resigned the Position of Deputy National Chairman South on Wednesday, March 28 because of the Constitution of the party which stated in Article 31 of APC Party Constitution that any principal officer wishing to re-contest or contest for another post, must resign from his current post at least one month before the election.

The Ekiti State governorship primary of APC which will hold on May 5 and any principal officer should resign on or before April 4.
