EFCC nabs popular Tiktok star ShalliPopi, his manager, four females and 25 others over internet fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested a popular Tiktok musician, Crown Uzama, also known as ShalliPopi, and his manager, Ajayi Hafeez, also known as 21 Badda, for their alleged involvement in internet-related fraud.

The EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday. He said the duo were arrested along with 29 other suspects, including four females, in Kaduna.

He said the suspects were nabbed based on intelligence reports about a planned show by some suspected internet fraudsters at Barnawa area of Kaduna.

He said the EFCC operatives raided Disney Park Lounge, Epitome and Tomoso Hotels, where the suspects were lodging and having fun.

He said some items recovered from the suspects include mobile phones, laptop computers and two vehicles.

He said the suspects will be charged to court after the completion of investigation.
