Edo 2020: PDP appoints Gov Wike to lead Obaseki campaign

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has appointed the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike as the Chairman of Edo State Governorship Election National Campaign Council.
The party also appointed the Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Fintiri as the deputy chairman.
The PDP candidate in the election, Godwin Obaseki, won the primary election unopposed after his opponents stepped down.
