The Lagos State government on Sunday has recorded a total of 133 fresh COVID-19 cases, otherwise known as Coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the state to 3373.
The State Ministry of Health made this known in a tweet on Sunday.
Recall that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) had on Saturday revealed that Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 133 infected persons, while Oyo State followed with 34 new cases.
Confirming the development, the State government tweeted, “133 new #COVID-19 Infections confirmed in Lagos. Total number of confirmed #COVID-19 cases in Lagos is now 3373
“45 fully recovered #COVID-19Lagos patients; 22 females & 23 males, all Nigerians were discharged.
“This brings the total number of #COVID-19 discharged patients in Lagos to 707
