COVID-19: High ranking member of Buhari’s cabinet reportedly dead
A high ranking member of Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet has reportedly died of Covid-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus disease.
This was contained in a post published by Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo on her twitter handle.
According to her, she said “there is an attempt to hide the death of the said government official.
“She disclosed that she is being held back from releasing the name of the said official because of her value for ‘national security”’.
However, Kemi urged the federal government to come out honourably with the truth and not play games with the country the way it happened during the death of former President Musa Yar’Adua.
She tweets:
“#BREAKING A HIGH RANKING member of President Buhari’s Cabinet has DIED of #CoronaVirus#Covid9 complications. I will give the feds the honor of announcing it. U cannot hide it like Yar’Adua. I’m not telling because I value NATIONAL SECURITY OF NIGERIA #drkemiolunloyo”
Recall that all seems not well in Presidential villa since it emerged that Abba Kyari, Buhari’s Chief of Staff, tested positive for the deadly virus.
At the time of filling this report, there’s no any official statement on death reports from Aso rock.
