COVID-19: Ex-deputy Gov, Eleka Gives Food Items To The People
The food items worth about two million Naira (N2,000,000) received by Ward chairmen across the 11 wards of the town
The former Ekiti deputy governor and the 2018 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Professor Kolapo Olusola, popularly known as Eleka, has given his party members food items in Ikere – Ekiti.
The gift is to compliment the efforts of the state government in combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The food items worth about two million Naira (N2,000,000) received by Ward chairmen across the 11 wards of the town, in order to help cushion the effect of stay-at-home order by the State Government caused by Coronavirus.
The food items include; Bags of Rice, Packs of Noodles, bags of Kings vegetable oil, Sugar, Garri, Beans among others.
Olusola said the decision to give the food items to Ikere PDP members to help cushion the effect of the lockdown on Nigerians and advised his members to stay at home during this Coronavirus pandemic.
