Court remands Deeper Life School Principal, four others in prison for assaulting student
The State High Court 7 sitting in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital ordered the remand of five teachers of the Deeper Life High School Uyo over abused and molested of a JSS1 student, Don Davies, mother of Davies reported.
Deborah Okezie revealed that the court has remanded five persons involved in the case in prison custody.
Recall that the Uyo Magistrate Court in Akwa Ibom State had charged Deeper Life High School principal, Mrs Ndidi Solomon, and four others for unlawfully and indecently assaulting Don-Davies Archibong.
They were all accused of involvement in the molestation, starvation, and s-xual abuse of a JSS1 student of the institution, Don Davis.

Giving an update on her Facebook page, Okezie said the court remanded the Principal of the school, vice-principal, housemasters, and one other person.
She also disclosed that the judge ruled that the two accused minors should be tried in a Juvenile Family Court.
She wrote, “All the suspects were arraigned afresh at the State High Court 7 Uyo and were asked to be remanded in the prison custody with stiff bail conditions.
“So, the five of them, the Principal Ndidi Solomon, the Vice Principal, the wicked Housemasters, Akpan, and others apart from the two minors were ordered to be detained in the prison custody until they met their bail conditions.
“Their lawyers were running up and down and cold caught all of them when the Judge gave the ruling.
“The matter has just begun, with a different tone of the music,” she added.
