Coronavirus test result of Gov El-Rufai’s wife reveals
The wife of the governor of Kaduna state, Hadiza Isma El-Rufai, has announced that her Covid-19 test result came out negative.
Ms El-Rufai made the disclosure via her Twitter page in the evening of Monday, March 30.
She tweeted:
“Dear Tweeps, “My COVID-ONE-NINE test result is out.
“I’m NEGATIVE.
“Thanks for all your prayers and good wishes.”
Newsflash247 had previously reported that Governor El-Rufai had announced he tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday, March 28.
It was the first case of COVID-19 recorded in Kaduna state.
The governor, who made the disclosure in a statement he issued in Kaduna, said he has gone into self-isolation.
Meanwhile, the Bauchi State Deputy Governor, Senator Baba Tela, on Tuesday, March 31, has announced that another person in state has tested positive for Coronavirus, making it three cases in the state.
He disclosed this on Tuesday, while addressing newsmen on the situation in the state.
The Deputy, who doubles as the Chairman, Task Force Committee on COVID-19, said the individual is a 55- year- old man.
