Coronavirus: Fayemi Releases Free Bus to Ease Students’ Movement in Ekiti

Sequel to the increment in Bus fares, the Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has approved a free Marcopolo Bus to ease student’s movement from Ekiti to Lagos, Osun and Oyo states.

While it has been slightly difficult to implement the prescribed social space for passengers, the Government has made available tips on how to prevent covid-19 and also given them free sanitisers to use which will hopefully keep them ‘safe’ through the trip.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria’s Health Minister, Osagie Ehanire, on Sunday, March 22, has confirmed another three new cases of coronavirus, including Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

This comes a day after 10 fresh cases were announced on Saturday.

Nigeria now has 25 confirmed cases of the virus.

Two persons have however, been discharged to go home and spending time in isolation centres for treatment.

No deaths have been recorded in the country for the pandemic.
