Buruji Kashamu’s men dump PDP in Ekiti
Senator Buruji Kashamu’s men reportedly dump PDP for another party
Following the fallout of the Supreme Court’s judgment which sacked Ali Modu Sheriff as the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), some members of his faction in the Ekiti State have reportedly defected to the other party.
One of them was the former Deputy Governor of the state, Surveyor Abiodun Aluko.
Aluko was the Deputy Governor of Ayodele Fayose under the first administration in 2003.
On Tuesday, August 15, Aluko withdrawal of his membership letter submitted to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman of Are/Araromi/Ayetoro ward of Ikere Local Government, he cited personal reasons among which were irreconcilable differences with the state governor due to his vindictive and hostile attitude as well as the illegal and unconstitutional age barrier set by the governor that anybody above the age of 60 can not contest for any position in Ekiti State.
The Chairman of Are/Araromi/Ayetoro ward, Alhaji Sule wished him well in his future political endeavors.
