As a result of the resolve by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to bar the All Progressive Congress, APC and it’s the 2019 elections in Zamfara, following its inability the deadline for submission of candidates.
The Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has raised over the attempt by the to impose a state of emergency that will voters from electing their leader.
The former Governor took to twitter where he wrote:
“I
have been reliably informed that the FG is plotting to hide under the
killings in Zamfara State by armed bandits to impose emergency rule on
the state.This is their response to the insistence of INEC not to allow
APC field candidates for the 2019 general election in the state.”
crisis in the the APC currently has no candidate in Zamfara, Rivers state. The APC’s woes been further complicated by performance in office which most Nigerians have described .
