The Federal Executive Council has approved the 2019 Budget for Presentation to the National Assembly, Newsflash247 has learned.
This development is coming after President Muhammadu Buhari presided over a special FEC session on the budget earlier today in Abuja.
Minister for Budget and National planning, Udoma Udoma made this known to journalists at the State house after the meeting.
According to him, the next phase is to work with the National Assembly to pick a date for the presentation of the estimates.
An N8.6trillion budget is being proposed for next year.
