BREAKING: VIDEO: Another Gas Explosion Rocks Lagos
The explosion, according to Director General of the Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA), Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, occurred around 6am.
In the early hours of Thursday, an explosion in a gas plant at Baruwa, Ipaja, has caused a fire outbreak in Lagos, Newsflash247 reports.
“It is a gas plant explosion and the fire extending to buildings around,” an eyewitness confirmed.
The explosion, according to Director General of the Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA), Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, occurred around 6am.
He said emergency responders have been mobilised to the explosion site.
This comes about two weeks after a similar explosion in Iju-Ishaga area of Lagos left 40 people injured and buildings destroyed.
