Scores of thugs’ alleged sponsors by El-Rufai invade NLC office
Suspected to be political thugs on Wednesday, invaded the premises of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, in Kaduna State.
It was gathered that over 100 armed thugs alleged sponsors by the Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, stormed the premises on Wednesday morning to further disrupt protests in the state.
Newsflash Nigeria had earlier reported that armed thugs’ on Tuesday evening had disrupted a procession by members of the Nigerian Labour Congress who were on a peaceful protest in Kaduna State.
The protesters were marching around the NEPA roundabout in the Kaduna metropolis when the thugs pelted them with objects on Tuesday.
The workers had gathered at the location in preparation for the continuation of their protest, when the thugs invaded the area and violently dispersed them.

Meanwhile, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige confirmed the report that thugs numbering over 100 were sighted at the NLC premises on Wednesday morning.
According to him, some residents supporting the state government stormed the premises to interrupt the ongoing protest.
“We have been able to arrest some of them and investigation is ongoing to that effect,” the PPRO added.
