BREAKING: Nollywood Actress Folake Aremu “Orisabunmi”, is dead
Popular Nollywood Actress, Folake Aremu, otherwise called ‘Orisabunmi’, is dead after a brief illness.
She died at her residence in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital on Tuesday night, four months after ex-husband Jimoh Aliu, better known as Aworo passed away.
She is 60 years
The veteran actress hailed from Ilu Ola in Kwara State.
Born on October 10, 1960, in Ilu Ola, Kwara State, became popular in the 80s TV series Arelu starring her husband and others like Fadeyi Oloro.
President of the Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) Bolaji Amusan, aka Mr Latin, confirmed the incident to newsmen.
Mr Latin said Orisabunmi died on Tuesday night but didn’t give the specific time.
Another senior TAMPAN member Tunde Ola-Yusuff also announced the death in a Facebook post.
“She left without a goodbye. The sudden death of Mrs Folake Aremu (ORISABUNMI) has been announced.
“Really a shock on everyone. Iya Oosa, may God rest your Soul among the righteous,” Ola Yusuff wrote.

Jimoh and Folake Aliu had a very rocky marriage.
The two were separated long before Aworo died in September, 2020.
