BREAKING: Nigeria records another 8 new cases of Coronavirus; making 232
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Sunday night, April 5, has announced the confirmation of another 8 new cases of COVID-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus in the country.
NCDC made the announcement Sunday night on its official twitter account.
With the new 8 cases, Nigeria now has 232 confirmed cases and 5 deaths of the coronavirus disease.
A tweet on the NCDC’s official Twitter handle, said five of the new cases were recorded in Lagos State, one in Kaduna and two in the FCT, the country capital.
“Eight new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 5 in Lagos, 2 in the FCT and 1 in Kaduna State
“As at 09:30 pm 5th April there are 232 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Thirty-three have been discharged with five deaths”.
