Nigeria on Monday night, May 4, has recorded another 245 new cases of Covid-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus and 6 deaths in fifteen (15) states and Abuja, the country capital, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 2802 and 93 deaths.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made the announcement on Monday night, on its official Twitter account.
The new cases are spread across Lagos, Kano, Borno, Jigawa, Kastina, Edo, Oyo, Bauchi, Ogun, Ekiti, Osun, Benue, Niger, Zamfara and Adamawa states as well as Abuja, the country capital.
The centre also said that six person deaths from Coronavirus-related complications in the country, but the number of fatalities rise to 93.

On the 4th of May 2020, 245 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria. Till date, 2802 cases have been confirmed, 417 cases have been discharged and 93 deaths have been recorded in Nigeria.
