The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday night, April 4, has announced the confirmation of another 5 new cases of COVID-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus in the country.
NCDC made the announcement Saturday night on its official twitter account.
With the new 5 cases, Nigeria now has 214 confirmed cases and 4 deaths of the coronavirus disease.
A tweet on the NCDC’s official Twitter handle, said three of the new cases were recorded in Bauchi State and two in the FCT, the country capital.
“Five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 3 in Bauchi and 2 in the FCT.
“As at 10:10 pm 4th April there are 214 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-five have been discharged with four deaths”
