Nigeria on Sunday night, April 12, has recorded 5 new cases of Covid-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 323 and 10 deaths.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Sunday night, April 12, made the announcement Sunday night on its official Twitter account.
The new cases are spread across Lagos, Kwara, and Katsina States.
The NCDC said, “Five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows:
2 in Lagos
2 in Kwara
1 in Katsina
“As at 09:10 pm 12th April there are 323 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 85 have been discharged with 10 deaths.
“There are 19 states with confirmed cases in Nigeria”.
Following the confirmation of new cases on Sunday night, nineteen states and Abuja in Nigeria now have at least one case.
