BREAKING: Nigeria records 348 new cases of Coronavirus, total now 11166
The new cases are spread across Lagos, Ebonyi, Rivers, Delta, Nasrawa, Niger, Enugu, Bauchi, Edo, Ekiti, Ondo, Gombe, Benue, Ogun, Osun, Plateau, Kogi and the Anambra States as well as Abuja, the country’s capital.
Nigeria on Wednesday night, June 3, has recorded another 348 new cases of COVID-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus and one (1) death in eighteen (18) states as well as the country’s capital, Abuja, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 11166 and 315 deaths.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), announced on Wednesday night, on its official Twitter account.
The new cases are spread across Lagos, Ebonyi, Rivers, Delta, Nasrawa, Niger, Enugu, Bauchi, Edo, Ekiti, Ondo, Gombe, Benue, Ogun, Osun, Plateau, Kogi and the Anambra States as well as Abuja, the country’s capital.
The centre also said that only one (1) death from Coronavirus-related complications in the country, but the number of fatalities rise to 315.
NCDC also revealed that total numbers of 3329 patients were discharged.
According to the NCDC, “163 new cases were recorded in Lagos, 76 in the Federal Capital Territory, 23 in Ebonyi, 21 in Rivers, 8 in Delta, 8 in Nasarawa, 8 in Niger and 6 in Enugu State.
It also revealed that five cases were recorded in Bauchi, Edo, Ekiti, Ondo, an Gombe States, four cases recorded in Benue, two in Ogun, while one each case registered in Osun, Plateau, Kogi and Anambra States.
