Nigeria on Sunday night, May 3, has recorded another 170 new cases of Covid-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus and two deaths in Eleven (11) states and Abuja, the country capital, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 2558 and 87 deaths.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made the announcement on Sunday night, on its official Twitter account.
The new cases are spread across Lagos, Kano, Borno, Kaduna, Kastina, Sokoto, Oyo, Bauchi, Ogun, Nasarawa and Adamawa states as well as Abuja, the country capital.
The centre also said that two person deaths from Coronavirus-related complications in the country, but the number of fatalities rise to 87.
