BREAKING: Nigeria records 117 new cases of Coronavirus, rise to 782 – 59 in Lagos

Nigeria on Tuesday night, April 21, has recorded another 117 new cases of Covid-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus in seven states and Abuja, the country capital, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 782 and 25 deaths.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made the announcement on Tuesday night, on its official Twitter account.

The new cases are spread across Lagos, Kano, Kastina, Ogun, Borno, Rivers, and Bauchi states as well as Abuja, the country capital.

According to the breakdown, Lagos recorded 59 cases; 29 in the FCT, 14 in Kano, six in Borno, four in Kastina, three in Ogun, one in Rivers and one in Bauchi.

NCDC said “117 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported;

59 in Lagos

14 in Kano

6 in Borno

4 in Katsina

3 in Ogun

1 in Rivers

1 in Bauchi

As at 11:25 pm 21st April there are 782 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.

Discharged: 197

Deaths: 25
