BREAKING: Monarch escapes near-death gunmen on Ekiti road

Oba Abdul-Mumini Adebayo Orisagbemi, the Attah of Ayede-Ekiti has narrowly escaped the deadly attack after gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen shot at his car.

According to the report gathered by Newsflash Nigeria, the incident occurred on Sunday evening along Isan Ekiti – Ayede Ekiti in Oye Local government area of the state.

Isan Ekiti is the hometown of the state governor, Kayode Fayemi and the Isan road area has been taken by gunmen.

The gunmen reportedly shot severally at the Ekiti monarch’s car while he was travelling on Sunday.

The monarch who escaped with gunshot injuries is currently hospitalized at a tertiary medical facility in the state.

Meanwhile, the Ekiti Police Command yet confirmed this incident at the time of filing this report.
