Unknown gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have abducted three staff of a popular Hotel in Ayetoro Ekiti, Ido/Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on Tuesday night around 9:30 pm, launched attack on a popular Hotel in the community.
Newsflash Nigeria gathered that the herdsmen came through the route where a traditional ruler, the Elewu of Ewu-Ekiti was shot in two months ago.
It was learnt that the herdsmen about thirty were fully armed to teeth, shot sporadically to the air and in the process, a staff of the Hotel simply identified as Idowu was shot on his shoulder and kidnapped alongside three others.

A resident of the town Peter Otiko narrated that the herdsmen came around 09:30 in the night launched attack on a popular Hotel in the community.
Otiko said his Brother “Sunday” who guards the Hotel received machete wounds severally on his head from the herdsmen and now in critical condition at the Federal Medical Centre, Ido Ekiti .
Police Public Relations officer in the State, Sunday Abutu when contacted said he has not received brief on the development.
He added that he would get back to our correspondent once he contacts the divisional headquarters in the area.

Also, Commander Amotekun Security Corps, in Ekiti State, Brig. Joe Komolafe (rtd.) said he could not confirm if it was Fulani herdsmen that actually carried out the invasion, adding that it was a case of hoodlum’s attack.
He explained that a distress call came in to him on Tuesday night and he immediately deployed his men to the place around 10:30 pm but the bandits have left the scene before his men could arrive the town.
Komolafe further explained that the security guard at the Hotel received cutlass wound, while a lady was raped but said he could not confirm if anyone was abducted.
