Unknown gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have abducted a farmer in Retired General Army farm in Ikere Ekiti in Ikere Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening at the Ajaka village farm, Oko Obe area along Ikere – Ilawe road in Ikere Ekiti.
Newsflash gathered that the man name withheld was abducted around 5 pm on Wednesday while working at his retired general army farm in Ajaka farm, Oko Obe area of Ikere.
The suspected five Fulani herdsmen stormed the farm belong to Retired General Army with guns, shooting sporadically to scare the people of the Oke Obe and whisked one of the working in the farm away.
The incident occurred barely 24 hours after a Chinese expatriate abducted at Igbemo Ekiti in Irepodun Ifelodun Local Government Area of the Ekiti State.
Recall that a Chinese expatriate abducted on Tuesday evening when the whereabouts of a foreigner is yet to be ascertained by security agencies.
The expatriate identified as one of the experts supervising the construction of Ilupeju-Ire-Igbemo-Ijan road, was said to have been waylaid at Igbemo-Ekiti while driving in a Hilux Van and whisked away to an unknown destination by arm-wielding attackers.
