BREAKING: Gunmen kidnap Kogi Senator’s Aide, Edo Head of Service, kill driver

Unknown gunmen have kidnapped Barrister Isaac Ekpa, Senior Legislative Aide to the Senator representing Kogi East, Isah Jibrin.

It was gathered that Barrister Ekpa was abducted at Ogbabo yesterday, on his way to Olamaboro for his father’s burial.

The source disclosed that the kidnappers have not contacted the family.

Also, the Edo State Head of Service, Anthony Okungbowan has been kidnapped in Benin-city.

Security sources disclosed that Okungbowa was kidnapped at gunpoint on Saturday evening and whisked to an unknown destination, while the hoodlums are yet to reach members of the family of the victim or Governor Godwin Obaseki, on the payment of ransom.

It was gathered that his driver was killed by the gunmen.

He was said to have attended a local event in Oza area of Orhiomwon, Edo State.

Edo Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Chidi Nwabuzor, a Superintendent of Police (SP), could not be reached for comment, at press time.
