BREAKING: Gunmen kidnap Ex-lawmaker Mayokun in Ekiti road

Edu Mayokun, a former member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly has been abducted by unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers.

Newsflash Nigeria gathered that the incident happened on Saturday evening along Ikere-Igbara Odo road in Ikere Local Government Area of Ekiti State.

Mayokun was a former House of Assembly member in Ekiti during the first term of Governor Ayodele Fayose.

Mayoku was travelling from Ikere to Igbara Odo when he was stopped and pulled out of his vehicle to an unknown destination.

This incident was barely four days after a lawyer who was also a former House of Assembly member, Hon Sule Adedayo Longe and unspecified passengers were abducted on Tuesday evening, February 8, along the Ijesa-Isu axis on their way to Ado-Ekiti from Omuo Ekiti.

Meanwhile, the Ekiti Police Command yet confirmed this incident at the time of filing this report.
