BREAKING: Gospel singer, Sister Osinachi “Ekwueme” is dead
Gospel Artiste, Sister Osinachi, popularly known as Ekwueme, is dead, Newsflash Nigeria learnt.
The renowned musician passed away on Friday evening after she has been on life support for the past two months.
She had been diagnosed with throat cancer, the source said.
The talented musician who had an angelic voice is known for the track, Ekwueme, and after the news that she has died went viral, many people reacted to it.
Throughout her gospel career, she featured in some popular gospel songs and some of these songs are:
“Nara Ekele” by Pastor Paul Enenche (Dunamis, Abuja);
“Ekwueme” by Prospa Ochimana, and ;
“You no dey use me play” by Emma.
Osinachi’s death is coming just two weeks after a colleague, Chinedu Nwadike passed on. The 39-year-old singer was said to have recovered from kidney disease and was billed to travel to India for further medical treatment before his demise on March 27. They were two talented musicians.
