BREAKING: Ekiti records 3 new cases of Coronavirus, total now 11
Ekiti state on Friday night, May 1, has recorded another 3 new cases of the Covid-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus in the state, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the state to 11 and one death.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), who made the announcement on Friday night, on its official Twitter account, saying Ekiti had recorded three cases of the COVID-19.
On the 1st of May 2020, three new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Ekiti. Till date, 11 cases have been confirmed in the state, two cases have been discharged and one death has been recorded in the state.
The NCDC also said that ten person deaths from Coronavirus-related complications in the country, but the number of fatalities rise to 68.

On the 1st of May 2020, 238 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria. Till date, 2170 cases have been confirmed, 351 cases have been discharged and 68 deaths have been recorded in Nigeria.
