BREAKING: Cross, Pere evicted from BBNaija season 6
Big Brother Naija Season 6 housemates, Cross and Pere have been evicted from the show.
Their eviction was announced by the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, at the grand finale of the show on Sunday.
Cross: Born Ikechukwu Cross Okonkwo, the 30-year-old is a Nigerian entrepreneur from Anambra State. Prior to his participation on the Big Brother Naija reality show, not much was known about the young man by many.
However, he is the first son and eldest among four children and his mother is an evangelist. Sadly, he lost his father some years ago.
Being a fan’s favourite, he has had his fair share of trends on the microblogging site, Twitter, ever since he joined the show.
As a fitness enthusiast, he started a protein shake company called Cross Fitness Nutrition to help keep his customers healthy as the protein shake has been said to be a useful fat burner.
The young man who describes himself as a ‘bad boy with a good heart,’ enjoys watching movies, travelling or partying at a club.
Speaking about his eviction, he said, “I knew I wasn’t going to win it, but I wanted to be in the top three; second or third position.”
Pere: Born Pere Egbi, the 36-year-old is an ex-military man in the United States. He is also a realtor, actor, nurse and model. He is the first son in a family of two.
It was gathered that he was raised by his single mother in Warri. In the university, Pere studied nursing. Also, he served in the United States military for six years before coming down to Nigeria to pursue his other careers.
During the show, the reality star noted that he was divorced at the age of 25. Also a fans’ favourite, Pere entered the show as a wild card. After Biggie revealed him and Maria as wild cards, he continued in the show till he eventually joined the finalists.
However, before he could join the finalists, the ex-military man faced a fake eviction to the displeasure of his fans who took to the streets to protest Biggie’s actions.
Interestingly, Pere participated in a challenge organised by Innoson Vehicle Manufacturers and emerged as the winner of the task.
As the winner, he received a brand new car, IVM CARIS 2021 model, courtesy of Innoson.
