BREAKING: Coronavirus: Nigeria confirms 8 new cases of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday evening, March 28, has announced the confirmation of another 8 news cases of COVID-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus in the country.

NCDC made the announcement Saturday evening on its official twitter account.

With the new 8 cases, Nigeria now has 89 confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease.

A tweet on the NCDC’s official Twitter handle, said seven of the new cases were recorded in Lagos State and one in Benue State.

 “8 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria, 7 in Lagos and 1 in Benue State.

“As at 04:00 pm 28th March there are 89 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death,” it added.
