A Nigerian independent 24-hour news and media television channel based in Lagos, Channels Television has been reportedly attacked by some hoodlums on Wednesday, October 21.
According to the report reaching Newsflash247 Nigeria at this time, flames were seen at the headquarters of the broadcasting station after the unidentified thugs stormed the premises of the TV station.
Peoples Gazette reports that the incident happened after soldiers opened fire on protesters as they were singing the national anthem. It was further confirmed that some people were killed in the incident.
Newsflash247 understands that Channels TV has gone offline, a development coming a few hours after some angry Lagosians attacked TVC News station, a broadcasting station owned by Bola Tinubu, former governor of Lagos State and a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC.
