Nigeria on Thursday night, April 16, has recorded 35 new cases of Covid-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus and one death in three states and Abuja, the country capital, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 442 and 13 deaths.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Thursday night, April 16, made the announcement on its official Twitter account.
The new cases are spread across Lagos, Kano, Oyo States and Abuja, the country capital.
According to the breakdown, Lagos recorded 19 cases; nine in the FCT, five in Kano and two in Oyo.
NCDC said “Thirty-five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows:
19 in Lagos
9 in FCT
5 in Kano
2 in Oyo
As at 10:20 pm 16th April there are 442 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 152 have been discharged with 13 deaths
