Nigeria on Friday night, May 8, has recorded another 386 new cases of Covid-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus and 10 deaths in nineteen (19) states as well as Abuja, the country capital, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 3912 and 117 deaths.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made the announcement on Friday night, on its official Twitter account.

The new cases are spread across Lagos, Kano, Katsina, Borno, Bauchi, Nasarawa, Ogun, Plateau, Oyo, Sokoto, Rivers, Kaduna, Edo, Ebonyi, Ondo, Enugu, Imo, Gombe and Osun States as well as country capital, Abuja.

The centre also said that ten person deaths from Coronavirus-related complications in the country, but the number of fatalities rise to 1i7.

On the 8th of May 2020, 386 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria. Till date, 3912 cases have been confirmed, 679 cases have been discharged and 117 deaths have been recorded in Nigeria.
