BREAKING: 10 new Coronavirus case records in Nigeria, one new death; Making 5 deaths
In the early hours of Sunday, April 5, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has announced the confirmation of another 10 new cases and one death of COVID-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus in the country.
NCDC made the announcement Sunday morning on its official twitter account.
With the new 10 cases, Nigeria now has 224 confirmed cases and 5 deaths of the coronavirus disease.
A tweet on the NCDC’s official Twitter handle, said six of the new cases were recorded in Lagos State, Two in Edo and two in the FCT, the country capital.
“Ten new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 6 in Lagos, 2 in FCT and 2 in Edo.
“As at 11:15 am 5th April there are 224 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-seven have been discharged with five deaths”
