BBNaija Shine Ya Eye: Whitemoney wins BBNaija season six
Hazel Oyeye Onou, popularly known as WhiteMoney has been declared winner of the 2021 Big Brother Naija season six (Shine Ya Eye) reality show since its inception, Newsflash Nigeria reports.
This was announced by Ebuka during the Eleventh BBNaija Shine Ya Eye Live show, held on Sunday evening after garnering the most votes from viewers of the show.
WhiteMoney made the top two with Roseline Omokhoa Afije, better known as Liquorose who has been one of his best friends in the show.
The “jolly good fellow” entertained viewers with his cooking skills and seeming music career, as well as his funny takes.
As a winner, Whitemoney walked home with a cash prize worth over 30 million Naira, a brand new Innosson SUV, Dubai trip for two and other prizes Nigeria’s most anticipated reality TV Show, Big Brother Naija kicked off on Sunday, July 24th and ended on October 3rd to the excitement of many Nigerians.
After attempting to get into the show four times, it’s no surprise that he was determined to win the N90 million prize. He is now successful at the fourth time of asking.
Whitemoney has joined the likes of Laycon and Mercy Eke to come out tops in the BBNaija series.

This evening, Emmanuel, Angel, Cross and Pere were evicted from BBnaija Shine Ya Eye.
Born Hazel Onou, the 29-year-old contestant is one of the fans’ favourites. Fondly known as Whitemoney, the reality TV show star was born on July 6, 1992 and hails from Enugu State where he spent his early days before moving to Lagos.
During the show, Whitemoney had mentioned in several instances that he had it rough growing up. At a point, he had to sell food with his mother at a young age.
The TV star has also mentioned that part of his hustle included commercial photography, fixing generator sets, among others.
Leveraging the BBNaija platform, Whitemoney, who is an entrepreneur, has seized the opportunity to ‘sell his market’, hence viewers of the show see him as a ‘typical Igbo man’ and an astute businessman.
On the show, Whitemoney also won some money. He recently won N1m during the Johnnie Walker contest; during the BuyPower contest, he and Liquorose won N500,000 each.
