BBNaija Season 6: Names of 11 female housemates “‘Shine Ya Eye”

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season six, began on Saturday, July 24 and this year’s season is tagged “Shine Ya Eye”.

This was announced by the host for the show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during the opening ceremony of the BBNaija season six.

The organisers of Big Brother Naija Season 6 have said that the N90m (£158,000) grand prize for the reality show is the highest ever in the history of the programme.

They also note that the reality show will be streaming in the United Kingdom for the first time ever.

Also, the organisers have announced that there would be no SMS voting this season as fans will have to vote via the web and on MyDStv and MYGOtv apps.

For the first time, viewers in the United Kingdom will enjoy the show live on African online streaming service, Showmax.

The special double launch show continues today, Sunday, July 25 with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu as the host.

Over the years, winners of the reality show have carted away millions of naira since the inaugural edition in 2006.

In the second season, the grand prize was N25 million and it was later increased to N45 million in the third edition.

The fourth season saw the winner, Mercy Eke, take home the N60 million among other perks.

The fan favourite, Laycon, who won season five, became N85 million richer.

This season, one lucky housemate would become N90 million richer when the show ends in 72 days.

The Big Brother Naija season six, Shine Ya Eye, begins on a high note as the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, took viewers on a tour around the house.

The colourful and exquisite rooms are set to house the BBNaija housemates for this season.

For the first time, the Housemates are provided with washing machines in the lodge.

There is also a game room and an exotic lounge for the Head of House.

The eleven male housemates for season 6 include; Cross, Boma, Emmanuel, JayPaul, Sammie, Pere, Yousef, Yerins, Niyi, WhiteMoney and Saga

It’s the second day of the BBNaija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ special double launch. The show has begun with the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, introducing the female housemates.

Here are the Eleven female housemates for season 6:

(1) ANGEL

The first female housemate is Angel.

She’s 21 and from Akwa Ibom State.

She has 11 tattoos that are personal to her.

She is a writer and an aspiring filmmaker. She says she is bossy.

Angel Smith, 21 from Akwa Ibom.

(2) PEACE

The second female housemate is ‘peaceful’ Peace. She is a fashion entrepreneur. She is single but not searching.

(3) JACKIE B

Jackie B, 29, from Adamawa State.

She is a single mum and fun-loving. She says she intends to have fun and win the competition.

She loves being spontaneous and listening to music.

She says she is going to flirt but with no strings attached.

Her son is excited about her being in the show and is also her best friend.

(4) TEGA

Tega is from Cross River State.

She’s fun-loving and has promised to spice up the house.

She says she is happy to be in the show and has longed for this moment for a long time.

She says she loves touching people’s bodies and loves dressing scantily.

(5) ARIN

Arin, says she has what people call, ‘ Ashewo face’.

In the house, she promises to be lively and fun-loving. She has 17 body piercings.

She says she has pierced herself 24 times and closed some up. She is an art curator and works in an art gallery. She is also emotional.

(6) MARIA

Maria is from Imo State. She says she is a nice person and love to be with.

She loves having fun and meeting lovely people.

She dislikes being broke and dirty people.

She is a realtor and sells houses in Dubai.

She is single and open to finding love

(7) LIQUOROSE

Liquorose, 26, is from Edo State.

She dances for a living. She says she is a Viber. She says she is the flyest housemate.

(8) BEATRICE

Beatrice says she is a calm Port Harcourt girl.

She says she is accommodating and fun to be with.

She says she is in the BBNaija show because she wants to be important.

She is a fashion model and hopes to launch her modelling agency. She is single

(9) PRINCESS

Princess is a taxi driver.

She became a taxi driver after she lost her job.

She has been doing this for a year. She expects the viewers to go on a ride with her in the BBNaija show.

(10) SASKAY

Saskay is the petite 10th housemate.

Saskay says she’s a hard person on the outside but she’s soft on the inside. She’s an artist and a model.

Saskay has her own gallery. She has her own boyfriend but the relationship isn’t too solid.

(11) NINI

Nini is a 26-year-old woman who can be anything except a makeup artist because she is a natural beauty.

She is a troublemaker but if anyone brings trouble, she’ll give it to them.

She owns a fashion brand and she is a model.

After leaving the house, she would do an official opening for her brand.
